As a Placements and Business Development Executive for the School of Law, Social and Behavioural Sciences, you will have a key role in supporting our students at the highest level, helping them identify and access work placement opportunities that will enable them to develop their skills and employability prospects.
You will be working proactively and closely with the School's students and staff, exploring and creating opportunities for our students, organising and coordinating employability events to promote and develop further our placement and internship schemes, and generating income prospects, in line with our courses, at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.
Our ideal candidate will be educated to degree level. An in-depth understanding of employability skills and graduate recruitment is essential. You will have excellent IT, statistical data analysis and problem solving skills. In addition, you will be highly organised, with strong interpersonal and networking in professional environments skills, and the ability to build and maintain collaborations with key contacts. Relevant experience in Higher Education is desirable.
The Faculty of Business and Social Sciences combines Kingston Business School and the School of Law, Social and Behavioural Sciences. The School of Law, Social and Behavioural Sciences offers a range of courses in politics, economics, human rights, international relations, law, psychology and criminology. Students graduate equipped with the theoretical tools, hands-on experience and critical thinking necessary to understand individual and social group behaviour, problem solve and influence the future.
This is a permanent full time position with a starting salary of £34,295 per annum.
