Position: Content Designer

Reports to: Training Manager
Location: London | Borehamwood
Working as part of our Training & Quality team, the Content Designer will be responsible for delivering and maintaining high quality and engaging training assets for our Operations teams across JET.
Create highly engaging training content from storyboards and briefs, for e-learning modules, and virtual as well as face to face classroom delivery. This includes but is not limited to, visual aids, training scripts, instructor-led training guides, supporting material, participant assessments, and feedback forms.
Maintain and update existing training assets and knowledge base articles, by working closely with the Quality team and staying up to date with policy and process changes in the business. This also includes version control (ie. documenting changes).
Collaborate with the wider Training & Quality teams and subject matter experts to get continuous feedback and sign off on new training content. This helps identify any points of improvement or knowledge gaps, making our content best in class.
Facilitate TTT sessions once new material has been signed off and remain their main point of contact for any training content related questions.
Support in other administrative projects and ad hoc tasks, such as carrying out learning needs analysis, setting up a new LMS, and transferring content into new formats.
Required skills and experience
Your knowledge about content design could come from a degree in instructional design, educational technology or psychology or similar fields; equally you could be really talented at creating learning material and have some samples of your work you can show us.
You're a creative, flexible, self-starter with the ability to operate in a fast paced, ever changing environment. Although you are happy to work independently on projects, you thrive in a collaborative environment and seek feedback from your stakeholders.
As most of the training content is process and policy driven, you are someone who can deliver on accuracy in an engaging way. Your attention to detail is matched by your ability to follow brand standards and style guidelines when it comes to visualizing your content.
You might not know all the ins and outs of instructional design, but some of the phrases that appear in your google search history are learning methodologies, learning technologies, lesson planning, adult learning, blended learning principles
It would be advantageous (but definitely not a requirement) to have knowledge of working in a call centre or restaurant environment.
We use the following tools to create learning content: GSuite, Articulate 360, and InVision and perhaps some more to come in the future. If any of these or others are familiar to you, definitely tell us about it in your application.
