The Account Director will join our EMEA analytics practice, based out of W2O’s London office and reporting into the regional analytics lead.
Skilled in developing trust-based relationships with colleagues and clients alike, this individual is responsible, together with the broader leadership team, for driving sustainable business growth, and managing key clients, projects and other aspects of the business day-to-day.
The Director will have a personal and / or professional interest in healthcare, and be passionate about delivering insight that addresses specific, business-critical issues and supports evidence-based decision-making in healthcare PR /comms, marketing and related fields.
They will exhibit a natural curiosity and drive to succeed and will thrive working in a fast-paced, fluid agency environment, with client-centric delivery and constant innovation at its core.
They will be expert in at least one of the following: social and traditional media analysis, strategy and consulting, digital marketing analytics & measurement, statistics / advanced data modelling, search / SEO and web analytics, market research.
Tangibly contribute to the evolution of W2O’s regional and global analytics practice
Establish and achieve financial objectives
Provide strategic and technical leadership to project delivery teams and ensure profitability targets and resourcing needs are met
Lead pitches, proposal development and other NBZ activities
Cultivate and grow strategic client accounts
Coach, manage and mentor more junior members of the team
Partner effectively with key internal stakeholders to sell in the analytics value story and unlock additional integrated growth opportunities
Contribute to the success of W2O thought leadership / marketing activities, including the annual EMEA marketing science summit and other activities as required
Direct and deliver client projects consistent with W2O Group and client standards
Demonstrate expertise in key developments shaping our clients’ business and the healthcare industry overall
Stay informed about the marcomms insights and analytics industry, including new technologies, methodologies, and key players
Work within the wider W2O Analytics team to further develop capabilities and efficiencies; coach team members in research methodology and insight development to drive visually appealing, strategic insights and recommendations for marcomms action
Interface with clients, senior W2O stakeholders, client service teams, analysts, project management and finance teams to provide a single point of contact for respective project
Collaborate with, and contribute to. practice knowledge share, including communications and marketing strategy, new technologies, methodologies, etc.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Demonstrable interest in / understanding of key trends shaping the healthcare industry
A natural collaborator, able to develop trust-based relationships and bridge diverse teams and functions
A leader in insight generation in healthcare communications, marketing or related field
Adept at cultivating and leading client relationships in a fast-paced agency environment
Critical thinking, curiosity and proven ability to pivot and problem solve effectively
Able to work both autonomously and lead a team of ambitious A-players
Skilled in managing and mentoring team-members to achieve and grow in their careers
Demonstrable relevant technical expertise in at least one field of digital analytics
Degree-level qualification. Advanced degree preferred
Advanced competence with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail
