eBook Coordinator, 12-month FTC
Can you keep things running smoothly?
If so, we’re looking for an eBook Coordinator to join our eBook Operations team on a 12-month FTC. This role is all about coordinating the eBook publishing schedule for several divisions and working collaboratively with Production to ensure all eBooks are delivered on time and to the appropriate specifications and standards.
You’ll be the first point of contact for all eBook queries from your divisions, reporting into the Senior eBook Coordinator and working closely with the eBook Technical team and Customer Operations Manager. This is a varied role, and you’ll need to be able to manage your own work load and build positive working relationships across the Business. You’ll be detail-oriented and able to work independently as well as a part of a busy team.
On a day-to-day, you’ll be monitoring eBook publishing schedules, coordinating weekly eBook deliveries, carrying out quality checks on a range of eBooks and managing eBook-only conversions and corrections. This will involve running reports, monitoring retailer issues and using several software applications including XML editors and desktop eBook renderers.
We’re after a confident communicator who’s able to establish relationships with internal stakeholders, with a natural ability to keep on top of things and prioritise their workload. You will be open to learning HTML and CSS and to developing your understanding of eBook formats, though we’ll teach you everything you need to know about our systems and software, so no prior publishing experience is required.
