About the Market Strategy Team:
The Market Strategy team is responsible for communicating the thematic market and investment insights across J.P. Morgan Wealth Management businesses, which manage over billion of client assets worldwide. The team has a unique and broad mandate to synthesize Wealth Management views across all asset classes, sectors, and geographies, and to share these insights via internal sales force education, external client presentations, and internal and external publications. Channels for content distribution include the daily Morning Meeting, Key Investment Themes, and Top Market Takeaways. The team leverages resources and relationships across the entire J.P. Morgan Private Bank Solutions franchise to synthesize our views into actionable, relatable, and repeatable messages for our advisors and clients.
The Market Strategy Analyst Position Summary:
Global analysts on the Market Strategy team support David Stubbs (Global Head of Market Strategy) and his team. Analysts are responsible for driving ideas, planning, and coordination of the global Morning Meetings; interfacing with solutions partners across Wealth Management to craft and develop messaging of investment themes; assisting with global business strategy and contributing analysis and materials for Market Strategy content. Analysts receive significant exposure to Wealth Management leadership and will grow to be well-versed in a substantial variety of financial market, macroeconomic, and investment strategy concepts.
This Analyst will help support the team's functions in EMEA, led by Grace Peters (EMEA Head of Investment Strategy). Focus will be on the team's offering in EMEA, particularly the Morning Meeting, but will also include the opportunity to develop content and strategy across the IPB, including LatAm and Asia.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Fast learner; strong initiative; desire and ability to synthesize a variety of global macroeconomic trends, complex financial concepts, and investment themes.
- Demonstrated ability to outperform in demanding and fast-paced work environment.
- Broad understanding of JPMorgan Private Wealth Management, including internal processes, products, and platform.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Acumen and familiarity with all asset classes, macroeconomics, and investment disciplines across the firm.
- Robust attention to detail and commitment to unsupervised follow-up.
- Executive presence, exceptional aptitude, positive energy, and confident demeanor.
- Identified as a top performer within analyst class.
