EMEA Sales & Marketing - Cash Equity Sales, Asia Product - Analyst/Associate

An opening has arisen for an Analyst/Associate to work within the Asia Equities into EMEA Client sales franchise. We are seeking a sales professional with suitable desk-related experience.

Key responsibilities

  • Support the senior member of the team to cover / co-cover institutional clients investing into Asian equities in our EMEA franchise
  • Help to produce daily e-mail and regular ideas material leveraging our research platform, raising awareness of the product and analysts
  • Work closely with the team to help arrange Asia analyst and Asia corporate access into our EMEA based clients
  • Assist on the execution of primary transactions, collaborating with trading colleagues, and proactively pitching solutions to help our institutional clients.

  • Experience in a markets-based role, preferably in Asian Equities
  • Excellent technical and communication and interpersonal skills (verbal/written)
  • Ability to understand complex topics and explain them to Clients
  • Detail orientated and self-motivated both around markets and client coverage
  • Highly organized, strong time management ability and ability to multi-task under pressure
  • Mandarin is preferred but not essential

Essential skills
  • Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
  • Bachelors degree minimum of 2:1 or equivalent
  • Strong intellectual curiosity and judgment
