FX Services is part of Currencies & Emerging Markets provides spot and forward FX pricing and processing capabilities to internal JPMorgan business lines, namely: Securities Services, Wholesale Payments, Commercial Bank and Consumer & Business Banking. Direct services are provided to a subset of Securities Services clients, to the Private Bank and to external online merchants, and the business has a currency hedging product predominately offered to Securities Services clients for currency risk management. FX activity is typically in relation to international payment processing or custody investment related settlement for the majority of client types.

The role

The individual will be part of the Investor Services Product team within FX Services, responsible for expanding and supporting FX execution and pricing capabilities for the investor client base. Whether instructing through one of JPMorgan's existing FX solutions (AutoFX, DirectFX, Passive Currency Overlay, Cross Currency Sweep) or on a third party basis, the team work to create new, market leading client solutions leveraging the broad range of liquidity sources and execution methodologies JPMorgan has to offer.

The team works closely with Sales, Trading, Operations, Technology, and partners across Markets and Securities Services to develop and deliver these solutions.

Based in London, the role will report directly in to the Global Investor Services Product Head. Responsibilities include:

Product Management

§ Partner with broad range of stakeholders across the end to end FX flow to define new product capabilities and operating models

§ Facilitate prioritization across impacted groups and share the delivery roadmap for the build out of new product features

§ Drive New Business Initiatives (NBIA) from concept through delivery, including requisite approval processes

§ Work with in house technology team in Agile methodology to deliver those new products through strategic system builds

§ Deliver high quality marketing materials for the product

§ Analyze industry trends and competitive landscape

  • Work closely with the product managers and sales teams across Securities Services, to deliver seamless, integrated solution to the existing client base

Risk and Control

§ Understand the risks across the operating model including market, credit, operational and regulatory risks

§ Partner with global teams in Business Management, Control, Legal and Compliance

§ Ensure that for all products and solutions the risks are understood and documented, and robust controls are in place end-to-end, including all activities related to client on-boarding, operational processes, legal, compliance, accounting and tax

§ Continuously review operational procedures, data flow and system dependencies of the existing business processes in an effort to identify risk, gaps and improvement areas


§ Highly motivated to design and deliver strategic changes to the existing product infrastructure

§ Able to take an idea from inception to delivery, and support business analysis with requirements and metrics

§ Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills with a structured approach to problem solving and an ability to challenge the status quo

§ Strong understanding of investor client needs and solutions and a passion for working with and supporting clients

§ Strong communication, partnership, and stakeholder management skills

§ Commercially-focused and entrepreneurial

§ Demonstrable experience in Product Management within financial services

§ Experience in Custody FX solutions and/or taking new products from initiation through to launchJ.P.
