Our Finance roles touch every element of our business and how we service our Media and Entertainment world and that’s why we’re excited to announce that we are looking for a Head of FP&A - Media & Entertainment to join us.
The Head of FP&A for the Media & Entertainment division oversees all reporting, planning, and analysis for the division providing information and insight to key Divisional stakeholders and the governing Boards to support decision making. You will have a clear understanding of the Division's strategy and ensure that the right data, presented as insightful information is available at the right time. You will ensure that cost savings and investment targets are met and that expected outcomes are delivered. The Head of FP&A further analyses and manages the divisional cost base to understand and identify opportunities to optimise to drive efficiency.
This role builds strong relationships with business leaders, the Finance Directors and Business Partners. This role collaborates with the broader Finance Community to deliver value to the business, seeking technical and specialist support from the Group Finance functions, the FP&A Centre of Excellence, and the Business Service Centre..
Key Responsibilities: -
Define and implement a divisional reporting suite focussed on providing information and insight to support decision making.
Detailed analysis and management of the divisional cost base, understanding key cost drivers, working with business leaders to optimise and drive efficiency.
Ensuring cost and investment targets are managed and delivered through the business leaders.
Reviewing and prioritising investment proposals, tracking performance and benefits realisation.
Build and manage a strong relationship with the Group FP&A team, embedding Group standards and requirements into the M&E Division and meeting Groups FP&A reporting requirements and deadlines.
Work closely with Business Finance FDs and embedded function Business Partners to ensure M&E performance targets are met.
Identify M&E business opportunities and threats, working with FDs and embedded function Business Partners to establish action plans.
Work closely with the FP&A Centre of Excellence, which will provide first line support on financial and KPI reporting, forecasting, budgeting, planning, and analysis.
The successful candidate will have the following key skills: -
5+ year PQ experience
ACA / ACCA / CIMA (or equivalent) qualified accountant
Extensive Group or large Divisional FP&A experience in dynamic global organisations
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Strong relationship management skills and ability to influence decision-making among senior stakeholders
Highly analytical and curious mindset
Ability to present complex data and information simply to senior stakeholders and governing boards
Excellent microsoft excel and powerpoint skills
Experience of operating in a matrix structure
Experience working in Media industry preferred but not essential
