In order to ensure we can deliver excellence to our customers, we need our consultants to have the most up to date skills. We are looking for a steady and conscientious individual to join the Capability team. You will work closely with our People team to help coordinate training workshops, manage learning budgets and overall support the capability development programmes.

This will be a Level 3 CIPD apprenticeship qualification in HR support, the apprenticeship lasts 16 months in total.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage the lifecycle of relevant events, particularly new employee induction and training courses from research and planning, to scheduling, logistics and evaluation.
  • Be a point of contact for new starters and manage the communication and attendance of the onboarding activities, working closely with the PS Lead.
  • Use google suite, learning management system and other relevant tools to manage and structure administrative tasks related to learning and development.
  • Follow internal procedures with regards to event booking and approval processes.
  • Be a point of contact for vendors, setting up in our procurement system, processing invoices and managing communication, scheduling and logistics of learning events.
  • Maintain the internal L&D hub and other points of information with relevant and up to date content including but not limited to: courses, development programmes, internal policies, and resource links.
  • Communicate clearly (verbal and written) to ensure requirements and instructions are clear for stakeholders.
  • Frequently seek and act upon feedback, reflect on performance and show commitment to self-development.
  • Use initiative when faced with problems or challenges, and be flexible to the needs of the event or stakeholders involved.
  • Escalate to the L&D Lead and Head of People and other stakeholders as needed, or when challenges arise or support is required.
