Whilst our customers are predominantly small regional house builders, we finance a wide range of projects from small residential developments to residential refurbishments.
The Loans Administration team reports to the Operations function and provides operational and administrative support to the Lending teams of both the Property Finance and Commercial Acceptances businesses.
The vacancy is for a Loans Administrator to work within a small team reporting to the Head of Operational Finance.
Inputting data and transactions into the main lending system Aurius including cash receipts, the loan management system.
Creating customer loan account records and files
Maintaining customer loan account records and files.
Dealing with key processes such as loan redemptions and account closures.
Monitoring insurance records and chasing receipt of new policy details.
Assisting the Lending Team with ad hoc tasks
Processing invoices to Loan accounts
Processing purchasing invoices for the business
Releasing funds within Bankline (Royal Bank of Scotland payments portal)
Daily Bank reconciliations and daily reconciliation of control accounts
Processing monthly statements and credit control letters
Undertaking ad hoc projects assigned by Management.
Be accountable for balancing and prioritise day to day workload and supporting other members of your team and the Head of Operational Finance.
WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF / PLEASE APPLY IF:
Good computer skills, being competent and confident in everyday use of Microsoft Office.
Good working knowledge of Excel to basic macro level, particularly in production of reports.
Ability to analyse and evaluate financial data.
High degree of written and numerical accuracy.
Experience of banking, treasury and/or payment systems.
Good time management skills.
Able to work within a small professional team and adaptable to the changing requirements/priorities of the business.
Need for sound inter-personal skills to interact with people at all levels.
IT IS NOT ESSENTIAL BUT IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU:
Basic experience within a property lending environment, or in a financial reporting, back office or administrative role.
Strong numeracy/Excel skills and some experience of financial analysis preferable. Accounting experience is not necessary.
Good time management and adaptability is essential as priorities may change from day to day.
