Project Manager, University Partnerships.
Based in Central London office (interim work from home through Covid-19 restrictions).
Permanent & full-time working 37.5 hours per week.
Salary up to £45k depending on experience.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to take a central role in our innovative and growing Pearson Online Learning Services team! We work with world-leading universities throughout the UK to take their qualifications online, enabling them to reach global audiences in the comfort of their own homes. Each university partner is supported by their own dedicated operational business unit, across research, marketing, recruitment, course design and student success services, to support our shared goals for high-quality student experiences and outcomes.
We are looking for a highly motivated Project Manager to support our partnership with the University of Leeds and collaborate on cross-functional projects as required. This role will lead on the planning and implementation of all partnership projects and programme launches. Our successful candidate will demonstrate excellent stakeholder management skills along with the ability to solve problems and support with key decision-making.
Your Key Responsibilities
Lead on all aspects of operational delivery for the university partnership with strategic direction set by Senior Project Manager and the Head of Partnership.
Lead on programme and project launch planning and delivering to time, cost and quality.
Scope out and define requirements for new ideas and projects for the partnership.
Act as an initial escalation point for any operational risks or issues raised by internal teams - particularly those that require quick action.
Prepare for, organise and conduct meetings with partners as required.
Define processes and policies and take responsibility for project documentation, maintaining our partnership policy and procedures manuals.
Review of internally produced partner facing documentation to ensure sufficient information and an appropriate tone.
Manage and drive forward all projects in the Portfolio Log that arise for the partnership.
Identify, report and manage Risks and Issues at portfolio level, including allocation for mitigation/resolution.
Update and maintain the Safe Data Handling Policy including regular reviews working with the platforms manager. This should include a detailed list of the data exchanged with RACI.
Keep up to date with RAID logs, Action Tracking, Issue Analysis, Online Programme Portfolio and Project Portfolio updates.

It would be an advantage to be PRINCE2 qualified, with experience in a Higher Education setting, with knowledge of university regulations and operations.
