To deliver 11KV projects from initial inception through to final energisation

Project Management

· To attend initial site surveys and identify the best route for the electrical infrastructure working closely with the electrical design team

· To be able to convey all electrical, civil and substation design requirements to the client and assist in ensuring these are met ahead of programme

· To be able to lead site meetings and advise the client on the process from initial inception through to on-site delivery

· To be able to successfully manage subcontractors in line with programmes and budgets

· To be able to draft Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)·

· To be able to manage the procurement on projects in line with programme and requirements, liaising successfully with our onsite teams and subcontractors

· To keep all project programmes and trackers updated

Budget Management

· To be able to manage the budget on electrical projects and to ensure any changes of scope are identified, captured and variations raised.

· To be able to successfully manage client expectations whilst protecting the businesses commercial interests

Traffic Management

· To be able to raise Section 50 and TTRO notices and liaise with the council to ensure that all traffic management requirements are adhered to (including opening and closing notices etc)

· To walk the proposed electrical route and identify the civils and traffic management requirements including any required parking bay suspensions, road closures etc

· Undertake all the administration involved in raising Section 50, TTRO and permit applications including liaison with internal personnel to ensure you have all required information and that all payments are made quickly so as not to delay the process

Supplier Management

· Build long term, mutually beneficial relationships with suppliers and councils across the UK, auditing their costs & delivery performance regularly and addressing any issues

· Consistently looking for opportunities to save costs and improve the delivery of the project through excellent supply chain management

· Audit the costs and delivery of subcontractors in respect of projects and, where required, hold performance meetings and reviews to ensure clarity on EE’s expectations in respect of delivery

· Procure materials as required on projects liaising closely with the back office team to ensure timescales and programme can be achieved

· Obtain all STAT plans ahead of planned works and provide to the site team

Cost Centre Management

· Consistently review the performance, supply chain and processes in respect of the projects to ensure operational efficiencies are identified and implemented and that our supply chain is consistently reviewed for best value. You will proactively look for cost saving and time saving measures that will assist in driving greater value for the business

· Manage your own time and resource to ensure all projects are delivered effectively.

Business Support

· To support the wider needs of the business as required

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £60,000.00-£70,000.00 per year
