This is a teaching position but Ravensbourne supports staff research development. You will be given the opportunity to explore this further on appointment.
We are seeking to recruit a dynamic, creative and innovative educator to support our FE department across our Foundation and Access to Higher Education Diplomas and Year Zero (HE) as maybe required. The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of teaching, curriculum planning, assessment and quality management across these courses, where needed.
The ideal candidate will have current inclusive pedagogy knowledge and be unphased by delivering online taught sessions. Preferably, you will have some coaching skills and an aptitude to support wellbeing, alongside a supportive empathetic approach to learning to naturally foster community. Your CV will reflect your industry experience and you will support and contribute to the development of our industry relationships and marketing initiatives. You will be excited about emerging digital and technological creative practices and disseminating these. Alongside all of this you will have a passion for research and contextualising projects and practice with innovative diverse practitioners that reflect our student cohort.
You will combine professional experience, academic knowledge and a strong understanding of current industry practice; you will bring the dynamism to inspire our students; and you will bring the experience to facilitate a high-quality learning environment.
Comfortable collaborating with colleagues, you will also contribute to the student experience by providing unit and potentially year curriculum leadership, and will participate in pastoral care, recruitment and progression activities. Assisting with robust quality management and procedures to meet Ofsted reporting requirements.
