About the role

This is a genuinely exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual who is confident in their own software development skills and who is keen to step up and help the team navigate some of the more stretching and complex elements of their work. Reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer, this role gives the applicant a high profile opportunity to perform and for their talents to be seen and recognised. You will likely possess a University degree or equivalent and have experience as follows:

  • Professional software development experience of 5 years+ with C# and .NET, Web Forms/MVC, Web API, REST Services, Entity Framework, Unit Testing (working in a TDD environment), web application front ends, Source Control, and Microsoft SQL
  • Full SDLC knowledge, software development patterns and best practices and project leadership . Senior Developer and team/project leadership an advantage.
  • Experienced with waterfall and Agile design methodologies; creating design documentation, roadmaps, and coding standards
  • Possess strategic product vision and contribute/recommend technology stacks or solutions
  • Achieve Microsoft Certified Status
  • Independently lead and deliver multiple simultaneous and key projects, providing weekly status updates and adapting team priorities in line with review feedback
  • Ability to take responsibility for team management, resource planning requirements, task delegation and developer mentoring
  • Demonstration of team leadership and/or Snr Dev experience an advantage
