Who we are looking for:
**We are looking for an experienced and innovative person who can design and deliver a range of learning programmes across the organisation. Key focus areas will include leadership, coaching and onboarding.
Our Learning Manager is responsible for the delivery of training and the management of the N Academy Hub. You will advise, train, coach and support both nursery and support teams and have a tangible impact on delivering our wildly important goals. You will have line management responsibility for the Onboarding Trainer.
As Learning Manager, you will work with the Onboarding Trainer to ensure new team members receive a fantastic experience that is impactful, fun and inclusive. In addition, you will work with the wider team to embed a coaching culture across the organisation to advance leadership capability. You will work in collaboration with the Education Content Manager and Education Advisors to ensure the Academy supports wider training needs.
Day to day you will:
**

  • Develop and deliver training to our nurseries and support office, ensuring that the support given makes a quantifiable difference to the delivery of our wildly important goals
  • Management and accountability for the N Academy Hub
  • Line management of Onboarding Trainer
  • Design and deliver leadership training for nursery and support teams
  • Implement any training required in line with trends identified through parent and team feedback
  • Work with the support team to ensure training dates are accurate, up to date and communicated effectively
  • Be an advocate for our policies and procedures every day and create an open culture of behavioural safety
  • Promote a coaching culture that promotes the giving and receiving of feedback
  • Support the successful launch of new nurseries and integration of acquisition nurseries via training, ensuring teams are set up for success
  • Signpost teams to appropriate N content, training and tools to meet the needs of their nursery. Identifying opportunities for future training and respond accordingly
  • Follow up on communications, training and initiatives to ensure successful implementation
  • Champion the sharing of best practice to inspire and celebrate success
  • Attend meetings with the wider Education Team and other support functions to provide a joined-up approach across the group to support us to achieve our wildly important goals
  • Create an environment where everyone plays as a team, reaches their full potential, promotes the N Family Club culture and values, and thrives on feedback
  • Be a role model for exceptionally high standards, never cutting corners
  • Be abreast of current leadership trends and emerging research
  • Work in collaboration with with the Compliance Manager to ensure that all team members have relevant and up to date training in place
  • Report training statistics to key stakeholders
  • Respond to learning queries as they arise
  • Work a flexible work pattern within the nursery opening hours (7am-7 pm), with the flexibility to attend out of hours meetings and events as required

What you will need to bring with you:
Experience:

  • Experience of working in a multi-site, nursery group, in a training and development role
  • Experience in delivering leadership and coaching training
  • Experience of managing a Learning Management System (LMS) to organise, track and monitor the impact of training
  • Confident in various forms of delivery such as a webinar, virtual training and face-to-face
  • Design of e-learning courses (desirable)
  • Experience in coaching, training and advising nurseries to improve outcomes
  • Prior experience of a growing business ideally with experience of integration and organic growth

Qualifications/Training:

  • Relevant degree level Early Years Qualification; Education or Leadership and Management (Essential)
  • Accredited Coaching Qualification (Desirable)
  • Training qualification (or willingness to complete qualification)
  • Full clean driving licence
