The social media manager is responsible for the development and delivery of all Social Media plans that support the business objective of reinforcing our brand and strengthening our position as the leading Smartphone and Gadget Repair Specialist.They are focused on finding creative ways of driving engagement and web traffic and, any results driven activity that supports overall marketing campaigns and drives a demand for the services and products we offer.

The role of the Social Media Manager is key at Phone Surgery as they will work with closely with all areas of the business such as, eCommerce, design, product, and customer service teams.

Core Responsibilities

  • Leading on social strategy and implementation for the brand
  • Designing monthly and quarterly social and content .
  • Sign-off all scheduled content on each social platform - ensuring all images and content are on brand
  • Work with store staff as required to ensure delivery of key messages as required by the business
  • Commissioning and sign-off blog calendar and content, working closely with other functional specialists including SEO, Digital Marketing and PR to drive backlinks, SEO value of content and increase visits to the website
  • Weekly and Monthly measures
  • Day-to-day point of contact for the social media agency

Skills and Experience

  • Experience and understanding of all aspects of marketing and paid social media
  • A track record of setting up and optimising social media campaigns
  • Understanding of the overall marketing mix and the role of social media in it
  • Social media management experience across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Linkedin and Pinterest
  • Robust understanding of the role of social media in an e-commerce market
  • Social media analytics, metrics, and reporting experience to drive decisions and continued
  • Good planning and leadership skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A high standard of English grammar, punctuation, and spelling

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £25,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
