Hours: 09:30-17:30

Role overview

You will primarily be working within the Legal Services Immigration department, as part of the KBS Immigration team (Internal Account) within the Watford office. As a Legal Immigration Assistant you will be responsible for supporting our consultants and assistant managers in ensuring our visa processes within People Operations are followed, maintained and allow the firm’s immigration licence to remain compliant.

You will be based out of our Watford office with travel to our other KPMG offices as required. Alongside two other assistants, you will undertake administrative support for 6 Consultants for all internal immigration cases.

Key responsibilities include:
Administrative support for:
Tier 2 (General)

Tier 2 (Intra Company Transfer)

Tier 5 (Government Authorised Exchange)


Spousal visas

PBS Dependant visas

Effective and timely inbox and case management

Drafting immigration documentation and preparation of application packs

Stakeholder management – working closely with KPMG employees, Business, HR and Global Mobility contacts throughout the application process

Compiling reports

Legal research

Ensuring all cases are handled with accuracy and expedience, maintaining our SLA’s whilst delivery high quality and consistent support

Keeping up to date with changes to the global immigration landscape

Keeping all internal systems up to date in real time

Qualifications and Skills

It is expected that you will have previous experience of a legal immigration office environment, however this is desirable and not essential;

You will have general awareness

or knowledge of UK immigration law;

You can demonstrate strong administration skills;

Have an ability to build relationships and communicate with people at all levels;

High levels of resilience, with experience of working in a highly pressurised client centric environment;

Possess excellent attention to detail;

Be an excellent communicator – written and verbal;

Have strong organisational, literacy and numeracy skills;

Ability to prioritise task list;

Have a good degree of IT proficiency, including Worksite, Word and Excel.
