THE ROLE

Providing up to 12 months maternity cover, this role is key in supporting the HR Function to effectively manage, monitor and deliver Payroll and HR services. The HR Advisor will join an established HR Team, dealing with a wide range for HR activities across the business. This role is supported by the HR Data & Systems Administrator. Confidentiality is essential in this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES INCLUDE:
  • Acting as first point of contact for employees, line managers on all HR Administration matters throughout the employee lifecycle
  • Coordinating and communicating company benefits to employees and liaising with external benefit providers
  • Accurate maintenance of the HR Employee Database & Payroll Systems (ADP iHCM)
  • Accurate and timely collation of payroll data and communication to payroll provider, benefits providers and HMRC
  • Understand, apply and advise on company policies and procedure to employees and line managers
  • Manage the recruitment and selection and onboarding process including conducting interviews
  • Delivering the company induction programme, line managers toolkit training and general HR communications


    Qualifications


    SKILLS, BEHAVIOURS & EXPERIENCE
  • Must have attained Level 5 CIPD qualification or equivalent
  • Have good working knowledge of employment law (applying to company policies and procedures)
  • Payroll knowledge and experience including data accuracy
  • Effective communicator (written & verbal) and confident presenter
  • Strong organisation skills with the ability to multi task and work to deadlines
  • Proficient in MS word, excel and powerpoint and familiar with using MS Teams
  • Excellent administrative skills with a 'can-do' approach to work
  • Open-minded and approachable

    Other Details:
    The role is a full-time role, based in our head office at West Drayton (flexible working is possible by agreement).
    This role will report to the Head of HR, Wendy McEwen.
