An opportunity has arisen for a proactive Regional Buyer to join our Development Division working alongside our Regional Commercial team.
Duties will be varied and will include:
- Placing orders via requisitions & set procurement schedules.
- Managing material procurement databases, schedules, templates.
- Budget reporting against orders placed.
- Monitoring current supplier framework agreements.
- Regular supplier performance review.
- Invoice resolution & account queries.
You will be working alongside the commercial team in the Region buying construction materials and plant as required for our new build residential developments.
In addition, you will be expected to work closely with the estimating, technical and construction personnel, attending project and pre-contract meetings as required. Ideally you will have previous purchasing experience with a residential main contractor.
